- Complete mechanical cleaning
- Gearbox servicing and lubrication
- Removal of part of the original gearbox to install the upgraded gearbox supplied with the Faulhaber motor kit
- Preparation of the frame for mounting the brushless motor
- Installation of the brushless motor
- Installation of the sound decoder inside the locomotive body
- Installation of the speaker inside the locomotive boiler
- Decoder CV configuration for operation with the brushless motor
- Running-in and final testing
The analogue model was manually digitized and equipped with a new brushless motor, sound decoder and speaker. Smooth and quiet operation both without a load and under load. The authentic appearance of the model was preserved with no loss of body detail.
